Students will learn to view themselves as a “whole person.” Students will learn how to make choices that impact all they do now and in the future. Topics addressed will include coping skills and mindfulness techniques to manage stress by promoting physical, mental, and social-emotional health. Students will hear from a variety of community experts. Students will have the opportunity to work as a team to host a Holistic Fair or Stress Management workshop for their school or community. The fair would be designed with interactive stations to help other students learn how to manage stress and make positive choices that encompass their “whole” self.
